Proudly offered for sale! Meet Shuffle The Deck, or Ace as we call him around the barn. He stands a sturdy 17hh at 5 years old and is a true blue roan with lots of chrome. He has beautiful conformation, strong bones, a well developed top line, and solid hooves. Ace is the definition of what a sport horse should be. His mom is a Percheron and his sire is Beau Gesta by Contango. The Oldenburg lines are nothing short of exceptional. When you cross this with a percheron, you truly get the best of both worlds; the size, the sensibility, the athleticism, attitude, confirmation, and movement. This gelding is like riding a couch! He has 3 lovely gaits, a ground covering walk, a floaty trot, and the most rhythmical canter you will ever dream of in a 5 year old. He has been schooling his flying changes and they are progressing very well. Ace rides in a simple snaffle and is soft in your hands, supple thru his body and easily gives thru his pole. He is so simple you can hop on and bareback him in all gaits and enjoy the ride! He knows all lateral movements. This gelding is smart and eager to please. He's got a kind demeanor a soft eye and is just as lovable as any teddy bear. He has also started his hunter show career. He's doing full courses at 2 ft 6- 2ft 9 with room to grow. He holds a quiet and consistent rhythm. Ace has been trailered to multiple venues. He's seen equitation rings, hunter rings, and even grass rings. He takes it all in stride. Ace has been mainly ridden by a 14 year old junior rider. With that being said she's done all the silly stuff kids do with horses that they sometimes shouldn't. He thinks he's a lap dog in personality and is very easy to catch, groom, clip and just general handling. We think Ace will excel in anything from hunters to fox hunting.  Ace has the size to carry any rider but the athleticism to do just about any job.
