Ellesse Schwartz
Owner, Head Trainer, Facilities Director Ellesse specializes in the English discipline of riding and has been riding for over 30 years. Her first pony "Sprite" sparked her love of horses. Ellesse has been successfully teaching young riders for over 15 years and offers weekly lesson programs that cater to all skill levels, ensuring every rider feels encouraged and motivated.
She specializes in teaching the fundamentals of riding and horsemanship. Ellesse has trained many accomplished riders and is loved immensely in the horse community for her knowledge and generosity as a professional. Ellesse is also known for her specialty horse sales and her keen eye for buying and selling quality horses.
She works with you to become a power team and will help make all of your equestrian dreams come true! She takes many of her students to MHJA shows throughout the show season and occasionally take her students to the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, OH to further their competitive edge.
Ellesse received her Bachelors Degree at Wayne State University. Ellesse also has three kids of her own (Charlee, Chase and Baylee), who you will often find hanging out over at the barn, mostly in the saddle.
Alexis Sylvester

Alexis Sylvester has been riding horses for 15 years and has loved them for as long as she can remember. She has experience in the hunter/jumper world but enjoys learning and growing in all areas of riding. Her love for horses goes beyond the saddle, paired with a genuine care for animals of all kinds. She is always looking to improve, gain new experiences, and continue building her journey in the equestrian world.
Danielle Mazer
Coach, Blackstone Barrel BlazersDanielle discovered her love for riding at 15 years old and quickly immersed herself in the equestrian world, competing on her high school equestrian team and in 4H open shows across both English and Western disciplines. She has also showcased her skills in Arabian and Saddlebred competitions. Three years ago, Danielle founded the Blackstone Barrel Blazers, which has grown into a well-known team on the MBRA circuit. Passionate about working with children, she is dedicated to helping each rider reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love for horses.
